We are looking for a full-time, permanent Clinical Specialist in Northern Italy (based in Lombardia, Emilia Romagna or Veneto), that will:

  • Provide primary clinical support for Penumbra products, including procedural case coverage, troubleshooting, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the International Sales Manager and team to develop and implement regional market development plans.
  • Educate customers on Penumbra products through presentations, demonstrations, and other educational activities, staying informed about industry developments and assisting in training activities.
  • Support, advise and collaborate with Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Cardiologists and other healthcare professionals in the use of our life-saving portfolio, throughout the Northen Italy area
  • Conduct product demonstrations, provide training and ongoing clinical support
  • Spend time in Operating Rooms supporting emergency and elective procedures. Also available outside office hours for emergency procedures if required
  • Work with commercial sales teams to increase account penetration and utilization of our products for new and existing product and service lines and improve quality of service to customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with all healthcare professionals, while identifying new sales opportunities through cross- and upselling
  • Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing creative solutions, in collaboration with senior management, sales and marketing
  • Participate in product launch activities, along with occasional international travel
  • Keep abreast of trends and developments within the endovascular space
  • What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Laboratory Technology, or related field, or a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Medical Devices Clinical Specialist or Sales position
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in Interventional or Vascular departments
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and competitive environment
  • Availability to travel extensively, up to 70% of the time, primarily within the Northern Italy area
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated dedication to customer satisfaction, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative and reliable work ethic
  • Passionate about fostering a team-oriented and creative work environment
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, coupled with a proactive mindset
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
