We are looking for a Procurement Manager based at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As a Procurement Manager, we rely on you to:

  • Responsible for the servicing and management of all procurement related activities and assist Head of Department to establish product specifications with the operating departments for all regionally and locally purchased products and service
  • Work closely with the Group and aligned with established sourcing strategy, source quotations collectively for hotel capital expenditure requests in the Area; complete transactions when approved
  • Familiar and abide by the requirements of ISO 14001, ISO 22000, HACCP, CSR, the hotel’s Environment Management System (EMS), Food Safety and other Hotel’s certified standards as applicable and work closely with other functional departments to ensure that corporate standards and procedures are followed
  • Obtain in-depth knowledge of the suppliers for the area and their products; assess and evaluate the performance of all suppliers relating to product cost, quality, on time performance, completeness of an order, credit worthiness
  • Closely engage with key suppliers on new products and market trends, encourage suppliers to develop new products, packaging and services to meet our needs
  • Support the Head of Department to establish and execute regional contracts in compliance with the standards and best practices of the hotels and the Group
  • Consolidate, review and analyze reports on saving and compliance related and submit to the Group for regular review
  • Perform any other special projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Higher diploma or above in Purchasing, Supple Chain Management or other relevant disciplines
  • A minimum of 7 years solid experience in Sourcing and Purchasing in large scale of operations with at least 3 years in similar capacity, preferably in hospitality, prestigious membership club or catering group
  • A good team player with a focus on delivering cost savings, process improvements, and value creation.
  • Strong in project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Excellent command in both verbal and written communication in English and Chinese
