Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Water/Wastewater Intern, we'll count on you to:

  • Offer real-world experience on exciting projects 
  • Stay curious and engage yourself in the projects and coordinate regularly with the associated team
  • Perform regular tasks such as calculations, technical writing, communicate with vendors/clients, prepare cost estimates, modify design drawings, research design standards, and more
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professional’s programs
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program related to or interested in the water and wastewater industry
  • Attention to detail a must with strong emphasis on quality
  • Must possess strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry such as AutoCAD, FlowMaster, ArcGIS Pro, Bluebeam, and Google Earth
