Minimum Qualifications
Position Summary
This is a part-time (up to 20 hours per week) position. The student will be working in the Variety Testing program performing seed lab activities and sometimes field work. This position will report to Dr. Danial Mailhot, Program Director.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in PositionCurrently enrolled in a University System of Georgia Institution.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Good time management skills. Ability to remain productively engaged in work activities.
Physical Demands
Driving. Occasionally lift 30-lb bags, sitting, standing, reaching, pulling, bending and walking. Tolerance of outdoor working conditions including sun, heat, humidity, insects, and potentially dust. Indoor exposures include dust and potentially noise.
