HSE Support Officer

Job Description

What will you be doing?

  • Coordinate key HSE Processes as laid down in Corporate HSE Standards;
  • Incident Management;
  • Performance Measurement;
  • Auditing;
  • Contractor management;
  • HSE Training & Competence;
  • Collect HSE related data from various sources and process these in systems and share these with relevant stakeholders;
  • Improve HSE data quality in Velocity EHS;
  • Provide support for Corporate and Local HSE teams;
  • Build and publish HSE reports and dashboards.

Responsibilities

  • Create & publish monthly, quarterly and yearly HSE reports and KPI dashboards;
  • Run data analysis on specific subjects proactively;
  • Process LSR orders in close cooperation with Repro department;
  • Review quality of data entry in Velocity EHS and initiate improvement actions locally;
  • Coordinate LTI reporting to TICO;
  • Coordinate Safety Alert process;
  • Support the planning of internal and external audits;
  • Support and promote HSE communications throughout the organisation .

What do we ask from you?

  • Nebosh Certificate/Middelbaar Veiligheidskunde/Integrale veiligheid, or equivalent;
  • At least 2 years of experience in HSE management in a complex, global organization;
  • (Willing to acquire) deep knowledge of Velocity EHS;
  • Eye for details;
  • Service mindset;
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Good writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and platforms;
  • Able to work with digital tools and platform(s), excellent understanding of Sharepoint, MS Excel, etc.
