Position Description:

Builds and deploys applications that employ 12-factor design using Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS, NodeJS, and React. Develops and implements Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in alignment with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) approaches -- REST and SOAP. Builds automation pipelines using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools -- GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Veracode, and Sonar. Implements process improvements within the system development lifecycle using Agile methodologies -- Kanban and SCRUM. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.

Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.

Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.

Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.

Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.

Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.

Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.

Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.

Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.

Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, and supporting Identity and Access Management solutions within an enterprise or product environment.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, and supporting Identity and Access Management solutions within an enterprise or product environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and developing enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions using SailPoint IIQ product; onboarding applications using connectors (JDBC, Web Services, and IIQ connectors); building solutions to manage user access using lifecycle management (IIQ) within an enterprise or product environment.

DE developing application programs using Java, BeanShell, SQL, XML, SOAP, REST, and HTML; installing and configuring web or application servers (Tomcat); programming in SQL using RDBMS systems (SQL Server or Oracle or MySQL); writing LDAP queries using directories (Active Directory or LDAP) within an enterprise or product environment.

DE developing code and configuration using Eclipse; managing code using source code repository (Git); building application artifacts using Ant or Gradle; testing code and configuration

using SailPoint IIQ (IdentityIQ); troubleshooting technical issues using logs (Log4J) and monitoring production applications using SailPoint IIQ monitoring tools; and identifying performance bottlenecks and providing solution improvements using SQL within an enterprise or product environment.

DE installing, configuring, maintaining access lifecycle management using SailPoint IIQ (IdentityIQ) product; deploying application artifacts using web or application server technologies within an enterprise or product environment.
