What you’ll be doing…

As a graduate with Verizon Services Ireland’s Centre of Excellence for supply chain, procurement, and strategic sourcing in Limerick, you’ll be working with some of the best professionals in the procurement field. This role introduces graduates to the complex nature of the global procurement at Verizon.

Right from the start you’ll contribute to meaningful projects in the department. Additionally, you will be able to participate in many different kinds of learning experiences.

  • Support customer order fulfillment at various stages, processing and managing purchase orders.
  • Assists with vendor relationship while maintaining and developing the internal relationship with all stakeholders.
  • Support order creation, processing, fulfillment, ongoing follow-up, goods receipt and invoice validation of purchase requisitions.
  • Execute and manage various reports through SAP and Supply Chain Transformation system for analyzing high-demand items to ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Execute and manage various reports through the ERP system to analyze buyer performance, supplier activity, and billing requests to support customers.
  • Interface with key internal stakeholders on logistics and Import/Export.
  • Liaison, interact and coordinate with vendors to secure available discounts and best pricing for orders.
  • Manage processes and systems issues as well as data integrity in order to process requisitions allowing for successful processing of purchase orders.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring problems to provide recommendation to improve Procure-to-Pay Processes.

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field.
  • Ability to work full-time from June 2024
  • Willingness to work virtually and in-person, and to attend company events.
  • Internship experience in a business or related field and / or a project portfolio that supports.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
  • Exposure to enterprise software or related enterprise systems (ERP’s).
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated independent thinking, relationship and project management, and attention to detail.
  • Analytical and leadership skills.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
