Position Summary

Integrated Program Management (IPM) for Garrett is looking for a Senior Project Manager for Program Management Office. He / she will be responsible to run Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to improve Program Management processes and lead actions steming out from it. He / she will be responsible to support PMO Manager, IPM Directors and Program Management community for New Product Introduction (NPI) process integration and deployment across different Global Business Enterprises (GBE). He / she will support data analysis to lead improvements and KPI definition. He / she will support Garrett Excellence Model (GEM) deployment.

Job Areas of Responsibilities

  • Run Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to improve Program Management processes: lead crossfunctional review to assess gaps and pain points of current porcesses, propose improvements, align plan with stakholders and lead the deployment.
  • Support PMO Manager, IPM Directors and Program Management community for New Product Introduction (NPI) process integration and deployment across different GBEs: turbo & EVs products.
  • Support PMO Manager, IPM Directors and Program Management community on KPI defintion for Turbo & EV GBEs.
  • Support PMO Manager, IPM Directors and Program Management community on data analysis to lead issue resolution and improvements.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports & communication for management as required (e.g. executive summary, monthly KPI dashboard, monthly CM & MW deck,...)
  • Support GEM deployment: support assessment, identify pain points and follow-up on corrective actions

Education / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in either Engineering or Project Management, or related work experience.
  • Six Sigma GB must be certified. BB or Lean Expert will be a plus. 
  • PMP certified is a plus.

Experience

  • Thorough knowledge of Project Management discipline.
  • 10+ years work experience in automotive.
  • 5+ years Project Management role.
  • strong experience on NPI Process management is required

  • Demonstrated project management experience to manage complex projects with high level of ambiguity
  • Extremely well organized, hands on approach, action oriented 
  • Take ownership and be accountable of own commitment and actions, ready to take the initiative
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with integrity, ability to tailor message to the audience (senior leadership, team members), not being afraid to report and escalate ‘red’ topics
  • Analytical thinking with strong problem-solving and data analysis skills
  • Able to maintain consistency and rigor in key processes applying influencing skills/techniques.
  • Confident to define and deploy new business processes, while integrating feedback and concerns from others.
  • Able to establish strong network of contacts throughout the organization.
  • Comfortable working within a global team with diverse backgrounds.
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong MS Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Program Management systems like MS Project, JIRA (for internal cadidates: ePEP, eLaunch, PQF Manager, GCM, 3DD, BOM Manager, GCM).
