We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Senior Manager (f/m/d) to lead our Project Management Office (PMO). In this role, you will oversee the successful execution of all capacity expansion projects in Power Transformers Europe, ensuring alignment with company goals, timelines, and budgetary constraints. You will be instrumental in driving efficiency, standardization, and best practices across the different projects.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing the Program Management Office for our expansion Projects
  • Leading and motivating a project team, creating, and safeguarding the governance
  • Close cooperation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders in your role as key contact person in the projects
  • Being the first contact person for the senior management and coordinating the steering committees
  • Track and control project progress
  • Monitor and control project financing, overseeing the status of billing, costs, cash flows and other performance metrics
  • Opportunities - risk management and claim management with respect to contract and process-related disruptive events
  • Initiate sustainable process improvements

Your background

  • Successful degree in civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable (Master / Dipl.)
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in project management or project execution as well as technical leadership of international project teams
  • Profound knowledge of senior management communication
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Project
  • Certification / advanced training as Senior Project Manager / PMP advantageous
  • Very good communication skills, strong target orientation as well as structured working style and ability to work in a team
  • Intercultural competence and consistent pursuit of set goals as well as assertiveness
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and any other language.
  • Willingness to travel on business of approx. 40%
