The Senior Customer Content Developer will create customer facing materials and programs for IP Clarivate products. This includes updating, maintaining, and delivering new content, managing maintenance of current content, and developing online content for in-product help and demo videos.

They are responsible for coordinating with Technical Solutions and Product leaders on needs assessment and priority of projects.

About the Team 

They are part of the Technical Solutions team within the Customer Success organization. The team is responsible for helping the clients to understand and realize the value of Clarivate’s IP products using their extensive IP, industry, and product knowledge. 

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments 

  • Bachelors in relevant industry + 2 years experience in instructional design or sales enablement 
  • Experience with video authoring tools, Camtasia preferred. 
  • Experience with a content management system (e.g., a LMS) 
  • Efficient multi-tasker able to manage several projects simultaneously. 
  • Excellent time management skills to work to deadlines. 
  • Quick learner who can grasp product capabilities and understand user experience. 
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, or basic JavaScript 
  • Excellent verbal English and ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication styles. 

What will you be doing in this role? 

  • Prioritize, design, develop and implement customer-facing materials. 
  • Ensure appropriate version control and document management guidelines including regular content review, revision cycles, and maintenance are maintained. 
  • Translate complex needs analysis and functional specifications into detailed content, e.g., value propositions, training curriculum, or course designs. 
  • Ensure the objective of the material are appropriate for the audience and that the materials meets the objective of the course. 
  • Participate in preparation activities for go-to-market, liaising with Subject Matter Experts on upcoming software releases, launches, and training requirements. 
  • Manage training content efficacy reporting program, analyzing data and providing recommendations to management. 

Nice to have:

  • Basic understanding of the Intellectual Property industry (patents and trademarks).
