We are looking for a SOM (Supplier Operations Manager) - Personal Systems and Printing. The scope of the job is to manage our Suppliers Operational performance activities in Germany for Personal Systems and Printing products.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage Suppliers Operational Performance in order to fulfill customer needs.
  • Ensure that key operational metrics are in line with targets, perform root cause analysis and define action plans in case of gap.
  • Define and assign targets and priorities to the Suppliers to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Contribute to HP financial results with operational excellence, tight control of local supplier costs, and reduction of cost per intervention according to country delivery strategy.
  • Ensure Supplier payment accuracy, track, check and chase monthly invoice for accurate accrual process management.
  • Lead the action plan enabling the best performance of the support delivered and ensuring a best in class End-to-End customer satisfaction.
  • Manage communication with Suppliers (Operational reviews, Management of regular Communication, Escalation).
  • Ensure supplier has the right skilled workforce to cover new strategic services and according to the updated HP service portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Business team to evaluate new custom deals vs available capabilities.
  • Deploy and implement new services as designed by Business requirements.
  • Be the point of entry for Sales and Categories in case of escalations or issues on services raised by Customers and Sales Partners.
  • Interfaces with other Customer Support functions both at Country and EMEA level and with Sales and Category management in the Country.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Typically 5+ years to establish proven track record in Customer support related activities or customer/partner management role.
  • Typically first level university degree or equivalent work experience; advanced degree is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good knowledge of IT and services industry Knowledge of company organization, policies, HP services offerings, end to end processes, tools, and routes to market.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • General technical understanding of products.
  • Problem detection and analysis of root cause.
  • Leads teams to achieve results.
  • Proficiency with desktop applications and familiarity with financial reporting tools.
  • Moderate level of planning, project management and change management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with all Management levels.
  • Influence within same team and level.
