As an engineer in the high-voltage test field at our Ratingen site, you will be responsible for setting up and carrying out development and type tests in accordance with the relevant standards. In addition, you will be in close contact with our development department and will also advise customers on inspections and tests. Your responsibilities

  • Setting up and carrying out dielectric tests, partial discharge tests, degree of protection tests, continuous voltage tests and tests on auxiliary and control circuits
  • Carrying out a wide variety of tests under PEHLA observation as well as accompanying PEHLA tests as an external observer in the PEHLA test fields
  • Preparation of the complete test documentation as well as the type test and development report
  • Further development of the existing portfolio in collaboration with the development department
  • Carrying out and accompanying tests in external laboratories and on site at the customer's premises
  • Cooperation with internal and external customers in technical consulting, preparation and execution of tests
  • Further development of existing test equipment and development of new test methods
  • Management of student assistants and supervision of Bachelor's and Master's theses

Your background

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering, power engineering or similar
  • Initial experience and knowledge in the field of high-voltage technology - committed career starters are also welcome
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
  • Strong customer orientation as well as initiative and determination paired with high team and communication skills
