Advertised Job SummaryServes the Assistant Dean for Pre-Clinical Curriculum and the Assistant Dean for Clinical Curriculum and Assessment as the primary manager of multiple databases associated with tracking MD students during the four years of pre-clinical and clinical education and providing administrative support to the Office of Curricular Affairs. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.

Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 1 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency.

Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience in business management, public administration, or administrative services; or equivalency. Database management experience preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology beneficial. 

Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesRequires the ability to work with a variety of people and to meet deadlines. Good oral and written communication skills required. Ability to preserve confidentiality and work with limited supervision a must. Computer skills required, including Microsoft Office components. Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.

Job DutyActs as the main point of contact for administrative matters related to the undergraduate medical curriculum including scheduling rooms, arranging required technology support, sending out agendas and related material, scheduling meeting with students and other stakeholders, and taking detailed minutes and attendance for all curriculum committee meetings, curriculum subcommittee meetings, clerkship director meetings, course/block director meetings, and other meetings as required by the assistant deans for pre-clerkship curriculum and clinical curriculum and assessment.

Job DutyManages Oasis, New Innovations, My Clinical Exchange ,and various spreadsheets used in tracking medical students. Produces reports as requested by the assistant deans of pre-clerkship curriculum, and clinical curriculum and assessment. Tracks class attendance data and shares with the appropriate faculty as needed.
