The role is Quality Lab Manager for ICPS Slurries/Clean product line in KSP North plant in Taiwan.
The core responsibility for the role is responsible for quality lab team management, Lab capacity enhancement to fulfill business needs and drive Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to enhance metrology tools capability and efficiency enhancement for Slurry quality laboratory.
The role requires to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales/CQE/R&D/TPM) to drive NPIs CoA test method validation & qualification to ensure CoA readiness timeline to fulfill customer expectation.
Develop and implement quality, administrative, and technical systems. Manage KSP laboratory operations including safety, health and environmental performance. Recommend staffing levels and capital investments. Identify, hire, and develop quality laboratory personnel. Ensure laboratories carry out testing and calibration activities to meet the requirements of the organization. Monitor and control testing costs and implement methods or equipment to reduce test costs. Implement quality practices to ensure laboratory compliance with ISO 9001 and EQOS internal audit.
Support product commercialization and customer technical issues. Implement testing required for new products in a timely manner. Ensure resources are available to support test requirements generated during the commercialization of new products and non-standard tests requests. Present data and summaries to customers and company field representatives to support test results and conclusions. Participate in customer visits/audits and ensure that the laboratories are always prepared.
Review laboratory control charts and gage studies to identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective actions resulting from identified nonconformances. Work closely with R&D, Pilot Plant, Production Engineering, Material Engineering, suppliers and customers to understand current testing needs and implement identified improvements.
Work with quality laboratories at other Entegris sites to ensure current testing methods and corresponding Gage R & R meet the current needs of the business and are aligned. Participate in global correlation studies and round robin testing. Participate in regular global meetings to share best-known methods and continuous improvement activities. Compile and analyze quality laboratory metrics that indicate effectiveness of Laboratory capability, quality program and quality initiatives.
