Biostatistician, per diem - (3286495)

Description

The Orthopaedic and Arthritis Center for Outcomes Research (http://www.brighamandwomens.org/research/labs/oracore/), an internationally recognized clinical and policy research group at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, is seeking a biostatistician to conduct statistical analyses in SAS from a large longitudinal clinical trial involving meniscal tear and osteoarthritis. Qualified candidates will have a PhD degree and at least 5 years of experience with data analysis and reporting. Primary job functions will include developing data analysis plans, performing analyses, and writing the corresponding manuscript. Additional responsibilities include participation in investigators meetings.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement statistical analysis plans in SAS
• Document results in study reports 
• Collaborate in the preparation of journal manuscripts and abstracts/posters for professional scientific meetings

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• PhD degree in biostatistics, statistics, epidemiology, or related field
• High proficiency in statistical computing; SAS experience strongly preferred 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
