Overview

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and creative strategic thinker to join our Revenue Enablement team to lead our global enablement team. In this management role, you will operate in a player/coach capacity. You will lead a Global Enablement Programs team that is responsible for global enablement programs and initiatives, personally driving the strategy, build, and execution of critical initiatives.You will support a team that includes program management, design, operations, and tooling. You will partner across Field Enablement, GTM Enablement, Revenue Leadership (sales, customer success, and technical roles), Product Marketing, and Revenue Operations to understand organizational goals, and to strategize and build key programs. 

You will be a highly collaborative, energetic, creative and accountable strategic advisor and business partner to the revenue teams. You should be knowledgeable and passionate about enablement, global program management, and operational excellence, and have experience launching large scale enablement experiences to revenue audiences. 

Responsibilities

  • Build out the Global Enablement Programs team within the Revenue Enablement Team, including program priorities, measurement strategy, engagement model, and processes. 
  • Model, coach, and care: Lead and coach a team of enablement, content design, and visual design professionals to accomplish the build, launch, and ongoing execution of strategic, impactful enablement programs.
  • Establish key performance indicators to track the impact of continuous enablement programs; work with the Revenue Operations teams, including analytics, to develop and maintain important metrics, dashboards, and reporting in order to make recommendations on program improvements.
  • Capability to work cross functionally with operational and revenue teams to ensure programs have the right balance of operational excellence, program rigor, execution, and sustainability. 
  • Serve as an expert on best practices around program design and processes to facilitate seamless production of global enablement programs.
  • Demonstrate player/coach by owning global programs but coaching the team to contribute in meaningful, significant ways to programs.
  • Understand and be passionate about enablement technologies, including Guru and enablement technology softwares, building innovative ways to leverage technology in program rollouts and in other enablement-wide team initiatives .
  • Operate as a consultant to the business by understanding revenue team needs and gaps, and designing, building, and executing programs that fill these gaps.
  • Oversee the development of global programs working with instructional design resources to leverage a blended enablement model to include virtual instructor led training and self-directed enablement featuring conventional and new technologies.
  • Develop and operationalize a feedback loop which captures and prioritizes the metrics needed to inform program vision/scope/planning; Support and oversee the operational practices across the team, identifying areas for collaboration, efficiency, and productivity increases

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Revenue Enablement experience in an organization with experience designing and scaling programs to large audiences (upper hundreds to thousands of learners)
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Experience leading a remote or distributed team
  • Experience scoping, designing and executing global strategic enablement programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management experience
  • Experience and familiarity of working with enablement technology tools 
  • Experience working with other revenue operations functions, including Project Management Office (PMO), Deal Desk, Sales Operations, and Analytics

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this job is USD $89,200.00 - USD $236,600.00 /Yr.

In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.

These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
