WHAT WE OFFER

The Corporate Audit function is part of Covestro Deutschland AG and reports directly to the Chairman of the Board of Management. We help the organization to accomplish its objectives by taking a systematic, targeted approach to evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, controls, and governance & monitoring processes.

Your tasks:

• You will be the lead auditor (m/f/d) for audits and thus supervising other team members on all aspects of the audit starting with the audit preparation, followed by the audit field work and finalizing the audit report and summarizing major findings and recommendations
• You will follow-up the proposed recommendations with the respective auditee
• You will analyze and evaluate (business) processes in view of risk, efficiency, effectiveness, profitability and sustainability
• You will analyze and evaluate the internal control systems and the adherence to Covestro internal guidelines, law and other applicable regulations
• You will benchmark identified local processes and organizations versus Best Practices (within in Covestro Group or the applicable industry) and consultation regarding possible improvements
• You will conduct investigations in Compliance cases
• You support the Audit Manager in all aspects of the audit and reporting

WHAT YOU OFFER

• You hold an academic degree in business studies, ideally MBA
• Your profile shows at least 4-5 years of experience in internal audit or you are an experienced employee in another function like e.g. Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain&Logistics within Covestro Group, a multinational company or a big 4 auditing firm.
• You have gained at least first working experience in leading team members and providing guidance and leadership
• You have a structured and independent way of working, reliability and ability to work in changing teams
• You have great attention to detail, high analytical and conceptual skills
• You are a team player (m/f/d) and have the ability to interact with people at different levels and in foreign locations
• Business fluent German and English as well as ideally good knowledge of another foreign language round off your profile
• We require willingness to travel internationally
