Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Engages with Senior Leaders at all levels up to MAJCOM staff regarding MTOs, acting as both instructor of government approved training materials and advisors/mentors for MTO education and implementation.
- Plan required travel to MAJCOMs and subservient units for MTO education and implementation engagements. These engagements shall include Mission Command 101 education, Mission Command Tactical Top-Offs, working groups, large force exercises (ex. Red Flag) and lessons learned events.
- Coordinate with ACC Combat NAFs to co-develop MTO templates for common scenarios (Ex. Red Flag) and conduct crosstalk between MAJCOMs for common lateral MTO tasks (Ex. ACC to AMC request for airlift support).
- Review lessons learned and conduct remedial training as appropriate to ensure standardized MTO education and implementation.
- Coordinate with ACC IG to develop evaluation criteria for MTO implementation.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance
- Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience with MTO writing, planning and implementation at different levels up to Joint Staff
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience instructing MTO concepts, structure, and processes.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience mentoring and facilitating MTO implementation working groups at all levels up to Joint Staff
- Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or a GED.
- Candidate must be able to travel at least 25% of the time, if/when needed.
