Overview:
Quinnipiac University invites applications for the position of Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs and Development, which entails a commitment to supporting, organizing, and enhancing faculty-related functions and activities. The Associate Provost will offer strategic leadership, guidance and support to faculty and senior administrators on matters that impact faculty roles and responsibilities. As the primary liaison to the provost regarding faculty matters, the associate provost will champion excellence, diversity, well-being, and professional integrity of the faculty. This role involves leadership for a wide range of activities vital for faculty success, including but not limited to: processes and initiatives for faculty hiring; orientation; retention; reappointment, tenure and promotion; awards; leaves; and professional development. The Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs and Development will oversee the Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) a collaborative unit promoting interdisciplinary learning, engagement, and scholarship. OFA’s shared mission is to Empower, Elevate, and Expand Faculty Excellence.
