Your new role

As a vital member of our team reporting to the National Facilities Manager, you'll be at the forefront of strategic planning and operational management for our esteemed National QBE & Elders Insurance Property Portfolio. Your role will involve orchestrating a symphony of facilities management services, ensuring seamless delivery across our expansive portfolio. From optimizing space utilization to implementing cutting-edge technologies, you'll play a key role in shaping the physical environments that drive our business forward. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support strategic planning and execution for facilities management across the National QBE & Elders Insurance Property Portfolio, ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and vendor contracts, overseeing performance and compliance with KPIs and SLAs.
  • Lead fit-out projects and make-good activities, coordinating minor and major works as required.
  • Cultivate positive landlord relationships and uphold QBE policies to mitigate risk exposure.
  • Assist in financial management, including budgeting and evaluation of proposals for senior management.
  • Collaborate with various business units and committees to support organizational goals, including NetZero targets.

About you

With meticulous attention to detail, effective communication, and relationship-building abilities, you'll navigate diverse stakeholder needs. Time management prowess is crucial for prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Ideal candidates brings extensive experience in a Facilities/Workplace Management role, including expertise in HVAC, Fire, Electrical, and Hydraulics systems. Corporate environment familiarity, coupled with facilities risk management skills, is valuable. Proficiency in project management and knowledge of outsourced facilities management, Australian Standards, and contractor oversight are advantageous.
