Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Quantitative Risk Analytics Senior to join the Credit Analytics & Reporting team in the Single-Family division. This position will be tasked with developing a deep understanding of data and current code base, designing analytical approaches for business questions and scenario evaluations, managing data research, analyses and preparation of reports and presentations. Our Impact:

  • Our team is responsible for producing reporting packages to monitor trends and performance.
  • We analyze different test and learn or pilot programs to assess risk of the offerings and create reports to monitor these offerings closely to assess broad roll out.
  • We prepare data based on various criteria and share with other teams to fulfill project requirements.

Your Impact:

  • Provides data, analytics and reporting to support innovations for collateral representations and warranty relief efforts, climate risk related analytics and for managing the collateral risk.
  • Provides timely, relevant, robust analyses to support collateral risk related business decisions.
  • Develops, relatively quickly, a solid understanding of relevant data, business background and the current SAS / SQL code.
  • Participates in the development of an analytical framework containing data preparation, code and reports to support baseline and ad hoc analyses.
  • Designs appropriate analytical approaches for variety of business questions or scenarios presented.
  • Supports Business Partners of Various Enterprise Models and provide feedback and analysis on models and model usages from business perspective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science or related field with 5+ years related experience
  • 4+ years of data analysis experience, with a combination of business and technical skills (SQL, SAS, R or Python programming experience)
  • Experience in analyzing and manipulating large datasets
  • Mortgage industry experience or financial / credit analysis experience is preferred

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $126,000 - $188,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
