Lead process engineering team to drive systemic improvement for overall assembly to meet quality, delivery and cost metrics
Manage daily tactical activities to fix production line issues and define long term strategies to ensure predictable and sustainable results
Partner with manufacturing and equipment team to drive quality and operational excellence
Drive process and product yield improvements through systemic problem solving and identifying solutions to baseline issues
Drive productivity and cost improvement projects for the operation
Develop technical capability for process team, identify trainings required, strengthen fundamental knowledge and establish SME for every processes
Early involvement in NTI/NPI, apply lesson learnt and ensure smooth transition to high-volume manufacturing
Drive enhancement and compliance of Control Plan, OCAP and SWE
Drive strategic industrialization plan, automation and quality firewall implementation
Manage effective communications with internal and external teams
Key interface working with BL, API, Final Test, suppliers, external vendors, support group and other cross functional team to improve manufacturing robustness and meeting customer requirements
Manage internal and external audit, drive compliance to requirements
Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Discipline
Minimum 8 years working experience in semiconductor industry with hands-on experience in assembly processes an added advantage
Demonstrated leadership skills with high level of ownership and accountability
Proven results in leading NTI/NPI, new process/tool implementation and driving quality, productivity, cost and improvement projects
Demonstrated people’s management skills and has passion for people’s development
Technically competent, data driven and hands-on with strong analytical thinking and good in problem solving
Has the desire to learn, take up new challenges and consistently challenge status quo
Able to work under pressure and tight dateline, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
