All while understanding that together we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift:** Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm **Location:** Maitland, FL - Travel in and out of state required **The role you’ll contribute:** The Education Manager is responsible for facilitating the development of clinical excellence in assigned areas through active participation in (orientation), training/role transition, career development, continuing education/continued competence and academic partnerships. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + **Education Manager:** **Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training of clinical and non clinical staff.** **Collaborates with Practice Managers, Clinical Supervisors and Front Desk Educators to ensure training standards are upheld including EPIC proficiency, Telephony Soft Skills training, Clinical response times for patient requests through EPIC portal, live phone calls and voicemails.** **Responsible for training and collaborating with training staff to ensure financial, patient experience and reputation management goals are met.** **Acts as subject matter expert in clinical and non-clinical protocols and processes. Completes monthly center inspections to include:** **Nursing visits, Diagnostic, engineering and work practice monitor.** **Tracks/trends problem corrective actions related to inspections.** **Assists center with plan of action to correct any non-compliant areas.** **·** **Leadership:** **Actively participates, communicates, and serves as a positive change agent for all practices, departments, and system’s initiatives/goals and leadership activities. Participates as required in recruitment, interviewing of staff, and coordinates pre-hire clinical skill assessments.** **·** **Training:** **Creates, plans, implements, and coordinates activities related to training of all employees new to AdventHealth Centra Care Primary Care Plus.** **Partners with Centra Care Director of Nursing and Coding Educator to ensure clinical training standards are met.** **Creates and delivers in-services to ensure staff are competent in their roles and aligned with organizational goals.** **Participates in maintaining and developing clinical policies and SOP’s.** **·** **Career Development:** **Facilitates and evaluates activities related to career development and succession planning for assigned staff, in collaboration with unit/department leadership.** **Counsels assigned staff related to their career pathway.** **·** **Orientation:** **Participates in new hire orientation as assigned.** **Responsible for connecting with all new hires to ensure they have received their training schedules and are ready to begin training on their start date. Ensures staff have been oriented to their clinic and role.** **Will perform post assessments evaluation on clinical staff.** **·** **Shift Work** **- In emergency staffing situations may be required to work shifts at the clinic in a clinical on non-clinical capacity.** **·** **Miscellaneous Duties** **: Attends required meetings.** **Reviews medical supply and medication inventory and sets par levels.** **Evaluates new clinical product/equipment.** **Participates in new center openings.** **Completes special projects as assigned.** **·** **Responsible for obtaining multi-state license for states that Primary Care Plus has clinics in.** Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** · Three to five years of experience in clinical supervision (Family Medicine, Primary Care preferred) · Previous teaching experience in formal/informal settings · Strong EMR and Telephone patient communication skills · Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) · Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
