What You Will Achieve

Do you excel in building something from the ground up? Join our newly established Earned Media and Partnerships organization within the Chief Marketing Office to:

  • Develop an Influencer center of excellence across Pfizer’s commercial organization
  • Build and manage holistic online influencer strategy (KOL, patient, celeb) for commercial organization
  • Create consistent approach to engaging, contracting and activating influencers across commercial organization and aligned with our corporate affairs strategy
  • Manage the process and strategy for how we nurture influencer relationships
  • Find synergies across brands and therapeutic areas for influencer engagement and activation
  • Manage budget for earned media and partnerships team
  • This highly visible role will be a key member of the Earned Media and Partnerships team; partnering closely with cross-functional team members across the Chief Marketing Organization, Corporate Affairs and Brand teams

How You Will Achieve It

  • Responsibility for driving influencer strategy for Pfizer’s commercial organization to support our therapeutic areas and business priorities
  • Implement influencer strategies connecting audiences to our therapeutic areas
  • Partner with our corporate affairs team, media planning team and brand teams to plan and activate influencer plans
  • Build and maintain first for Pfizer commercial organization’s center of excellence for influencer engagement including identification of influencers, assessment of influencers, engagement and contracting and measurement of Influencer impact
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of influencer campaigns – content creation, channel distribution, channel strategy and measurement of impact
  • Relationship management with top influencers, managers, agents
  • Collaborate with and lead agency and vendor partners for execution of influencer activations
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and guidelines for influencer partnerships in the pharmaceutical space
  • Have an up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, platforms and best practices for influencer campaigns
  • Deep understanding of influencer engagement and how to compliantly partner
  • Is recognized as a subject matter expert as it relates to influencer and applies this expertise to inform the strategic direction of earned media campaigns
  • Takes appropriate risks to challenge the status quo
  • Has the ability to lead unique and complex projects
  • Acts independently on self-initiated projects and spots opportunities for improvement without being directed to do

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of Influencer experience either in-house or at the agency setting
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, influencer marketing and listening tools
  • Strong examples of past work executing end-to-end influencer campaigns
  • Strong relationships management skills in nurturing relationships with influencers directly on behalf of a major brand
  • Strong project management skills
  • Growth mindset and ability to build something new in a white space
  • Excellent written skills
  • Strong understanding of the legal and compliance regulations in the influencer marketing space
  • Background on digital and social communications to drive therapeutic area / brand awareness and visibility
  • Experience working with organizations going through transformations is a plus
  • Compelling communication skills
  • Aptitude for convincing others (internally and externally) of the value of their ideas
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills andmastery of working in a matrix environment
  • Must be able to both drive strategy and execute with speed and high quality

  • Executive presence and ability to interact and influence effectively with all levels of the organization

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $149,200.00 to $248,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
