Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

We're in search of an enthusiastic and charismatic individual to join our payroll team. As the Senior Payroll Administrator, you will take the helm in overseeing and orchestrating payroll procedures, ensuring unwavering compliance with laws and tax obligations, leading and guiding our talented payroll team, and meticulously maintaining the records that keep our financial ship sailing smoothly.

  • Compile multi state Dungarvin bi-weekly payrolls.
  • Process direct deposit reversal and stop payment requests.
  • Process payroll corrections and off-cycle checks as needed.
  • Assist employees with payroll related questions.
  • Process post payroll related functions that include updating employee accrual balances and running various reports.
  • Process incoming new hire documents.
  • Complete external request such as employee verification of employment request, Bureau of Labor Statistic reporting and quarterly multiple worksite location reporting.
  • Handle garnishments and other employee type liens in total in various systems

Qualifications

MUST HAVE:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel knowledge.
  • Proficiency with automated payroll processing systems.
  • 4-6 years of payroll experience in high-volume payroll processing settings.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong technical skills
  • Proficient in time management (organizing and prioritizing) with the ability to be flexible
  • Multi State experience and taxation regulation knowledge.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Experience with UKG HR/PR applications, including UKG Pro and Kronos.
  • Experience with ADP software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) accounting software.

HOURS:

Full-time, usually during normal business hours. Must be able to work flexible hours. Remote work-from-home hours are flexible.
