Role Overview – What you will be doing

Ankura Global Strategic Advisory interns collaborate with experienced consultants to create customized solutions for a wide range of business scenarios and challenges our clients face every day.

Your principal responsibility will be to provide research and analytical support to further GSA GreenPoint clients’ interests, to support GreenPoint Knowledge Platform research and business development activities, and to deepen our collective understanding of China market and political economy issues relating to the U.S.-China relationship. You will also work closely and collegially with personnel, advisors, and subcontractors. With regular guidance from your assigned manager and mentor, you will:

  • Contribute to GSA, GreenPoint project deliverables and participate in various roles, as assigned.
  • Conduct relevant research and analysis and synthesize findings into compelling conclusions and recommendations.
  • Develop high-quality deliverables that leverage qualitative, quantitative, and visual elements.
  • Maintain key project documents, such as project plans, progress reports, meeting agendas and notes, process diagrams, communication plans, and other related deliverables.
  • Proactively highlight issues related to the overall project and work with project team members to resolve.
  • Assist with effective facilitation of small and large group meetings.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with all project stakeholders and lead.

Qualifications – All candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.
  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree. 
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
  • Business proficiency in Chinese and English language is required. Fluency in both is highly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint with demonstrated ability to efficiently produce crisp, professional documents.
  • Experience or coursework in information systems is a plus.
