Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Under the supervision of sales management, responsible for achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of the company's products or services. Implement sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives.
  • Calls on prospective customers, delivers effective sales presentations, provides technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices.
  • Basic commercial excellence competencies; utilizes CRM daily (Boost), analyze business through reporting systems (SMD), performs account planning and have a basic understanding of tenders.
  • Basic understanding of tenders such as timing, options on prolongation, products involved, competitors involved and works with relevant stakeholders in between tenders.
  • Works closely with customer service and operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • May provide feedback to immediate supervisor and marketing personnel for the development of marketing policy, recommended product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes.
  • Provide feedback regarding product simplification and standardization to enhance profitability of sales line.
  • Fully understand, and act in accordance with all Baxter values through ongoing relationships and activities.

Qualifications

  • You enjoy being in front of a crowd presenting and thrive when you are negotiating with prospects.
  • You are quick to understand and adapt – especially when our customers’ needs change.
  • You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills.
  • The position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies.
  • Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel. The focus area will be south of Sweden and you preferably live on Swedish the west coast.
  • You have good organization and time management skills.
  • You demonstrate business acumen, accountability and strong knowledge of sales processes.
  • We prefer if you have experience from Renal HD/PD/Acute and are used to the clinical language.
  • You need to have a technical understanding of the Renal product.
