Our customer is one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, and marketing of entertainment, news, and information to a global audience.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation testing, with a proven track record of successfully implementing automated test frameworks.
Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented principles (OOP).
Solid understanding of automation testing frameworks, particularly Selenium, Cucumber, a testing framework like TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
Experience in RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with SDVI platforms and technologies, such as SDN (Software Defined Networking) and NFV (Network Function Virtualization).
Knowledge of video encoding/transcoding technologies and standards, such as MPEG-DASH and HLS, is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and relevant frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).
Collaborate with developers and other QA testers to define a test automation strategy.
Analyze test results, identify bugs, and report defects effectively.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on automation code quality.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in automation testing.
Continuously improve the automation test suite and identify opportunities for automation.
