We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst to join our team in Medtronic, Czech Republic. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving data-driven decision making by leveraging advanced analytics techniques to extract insights from large data sets. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and innovative environment, where you will have the chance to make a significant impact on our business and contribute to the improvement of patient care and outcomes.

As a Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst, you will be responsible for utilizing your technical expertise to develop and implement advanced analytical models and algorithms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, define analytical objectives, and provide actionable recommendations. Furthermore, you will work on performing complex statistical analyses and data mining tasks to uncover patterns, correlations, and trends that will guide strategic decision making.

A Day in the Life

• Leverages tools and technologies proficiently to extract insights from data sources and present them effectively through dashboards and reports, employing data mining, project management, and analytical techniques.
• Transforms business insight requirements into interactive dashboards that align with business needs while adhering to technical standards.
• Employs data storytelling and business acumen to provide easily understandable, actionable recommendations that steer desired outcomes. Presents the key findings and recommendations to key stakeholders and management.
• Ensures the accuracy of analytical systems, verifying data precision, and serving as a bridge between technical aspects and business objectives.
• Cultivates robust business partnerships within a multifaceted organizational structure.
• Performs statistical analyses and utilizes data for developing precise and dependable descriptive and predictive analytics.
• Efficiently manages projects and delivers all project requirements within specified timelines.

Must Haves

• Advanced analytical skills (data warehousing, data modelling and/or data visualization tools such as SQL, Alteryx, VBA, Snowflake, Tableau or Power Bl).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced analytics or data science roles.
• A great deal of curiosity, self-motivation, independence in handling the tasks, and passion for data.
• Experience in working with large data sets and performing data wrangling tasks.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate complex findings into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay up-to-date with industry advancements.
