What you will do

Johnson Controls invites you to apply for an internship located in San Jose, CA. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. The Team is seeking motivated interns who are ready to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.

How you will do it

  • Summer 2024- possibility to stay additional time or repeat the following summer
  • Projects will be in data science, and full stack web development.
  • Design interactive BI dashboards
  • Work on end-end data modelling and pipelines
  • Deploy ML models and dashboards
  • Learn and develop Web applications
  • Design and implement REST APIs
  • Duration: This will be a full-time summer 2024 internship.

What we look for

Required

Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business- IT
  • Currently a Junior, or Senior status
  • Good Academic Standing
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.

Preferred

  • Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.· 
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)· 
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills required.
