Job Purpose/Summary

This role has overall sales responsibility for customer relationships and performance of the assigned portfolio to ensure volume and revenue targets are met with sufficient pipeline.

Key responsibilities

▪ Manage and develop the assigned portfolio; secure business and achieve objectives within the Sales Channel

▪ Build a good understanding and relationship with key targeted customers and the assigned portfolio

▪ Build a good understanding of all service offerings to be able to offer integrated logistics, end to end solutions

▪ Researching and understanding the local Technology & Electronics market in Mekong area to identify and establish business contacts with potential customers, forecast, build pipelines of clients, solutions, and business opportunities

▪ Develop customer value propositions for appropriate business opportunities. Strive for consultative sales to distinguish market presence by effectively probing and identifying needs and suggesting solutions to help customers

▪ Follow direction settings and stay on top of business signals to secure both long-term and short-term opportunities

▪ Communicate significant trends, price fluctuation and policies to assigned portfolio

▪ Work closely with Product and other related functions to ensure customer needs and market intelligence are updated and communicated.

Coordinate and execute commercial approach in response to customer needs and market situation.

▪ Ensure sales systems and reporting are precise and up to date for management tracking, analysis, and planning

Area of responsibility

1. Develop strong pipeline and that is correctly reflected in SFDC all the time.

2. Ensure assigned portfolio and target portfolio are on the right track.

3. Ensure to target large Technology & Electronics BCOs, especially Runway and Boosters

4. Develop focused products and trade-lane in conjunction with key stakeholders.

Key performance indicator

1. L&S revenue, gross profit, and Ocean FFE

2. Inflow pipeline in SFDC

3. New customer acquisition

4. Sales hygiene

Required qualification and skills

5 - 7 years of experience working as a Sales Representative, Account Manager etc. with proven track record of targeting, pursuing and winning new business opportunities, through both personal and collaborative selling efforts, in tendered and non tendered environments

Strong product knowledge in both L&S and OCEAN and understanding how they work.

Good understanding on customers entire supply chain and its bottleneck.

Solution sales skill for end to end.

Strong hunter mind-set and always being proactive.

Strong network selling skills and stakeholder management capability.
