Small Door is membership-based veterinary care designed with human standards that is better for pets, pet parents, and veterinarians alike. We designed and delivered a reimagined veterinary experience via a membership that includes exceptional care, 24/7 telemedicine, and transparent pricing - delivered with modern hospitality in spaces designed by animal experts to be stress-free. We opened our flagship location in Manhattan's West Village in 2020 and have quickly expanded across the East Coast. Small Door now operates in New York City, Boston, Washington DC, and Maryland with continued expansion plans in 2024.

This is the fifth company that Small Door’s founders have been involved in building. In building Small Door, they partnered with the people responsible for beloved consumer experiences like Warby Parker and Sweetgreen, in addition to healthcare innovators such as One Medical, CityMD and Flatiron Health. Small Door has raised capital from Lerer Hippeau, Primary Ventures, Brand Foundry, Toba Capital, and Pentland Group. The broader management team brings experience from Casper, One Medical, Soulcycle, Warby Parker, Sweetgreen, Peloton, Gilt Groupe, Lightspeed, and Outbrain.

The Associate Product Manager (1 to 4 years of experience) will report to the Associate Director of Product, and will work closely with the engineering, operations, growth, and practice teams.

This position will be key to the future of our product team, and will oversee the product development lifecycle for the entire organization, from project conception all the way through launch and analysis. While receiving support and guidance, they will be responsible for idea generation, prioritization, discovery, prototyping, user testing, quality assurance, deployment, and analysis. They will serve as a liaison between the product team and the operations, growth, and practice teams and should be able to engage with our product from both a high-level strategic perspective, and a ground-level executional perspective. Furthermore we expect the Associate Product Manager to be comfortable with resolving ambiguity; they should be able to ask the right questions, gather context from the right people, and provide clear recommendations to stakeholders. Passion for our mission, and ability to rally teammates around an idea is also highly desirable.
