You are a hands-on, motivated, and analytical Compensation and Stock Plan Administrator with experience in high-growth, lean, and entrepreneurial environments with a tech focus. This is a hands-on role on a dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and deliver accurate results within a fast-paced environment.

You have excellent knowledge of designing scalable job architectures, compensation market pricing analysis and benchmarking, reporting and systems, complex compensation modeling, entity capital structure and strategy, stock-based compensation, shareholder relationship management, and design and execution of equity management systems and best practices.

This can be a hybrid working role based on the East Coast, commutable to the New York Office.

The opportunity

  • Manage all aspects of the global equity plan administration, including managing a capitalization table, transaction processing and data entry, reconciliations/audits for quality control and all related tax reporting
  • Tax compliance (including international exposure) and forecasting to manage impact of regulatory standards and/or changes, including the treatment of equity-related employee compensation
  • Administering the company’s equity programs; ensuring that all new grants, equity transactions, cancellations, expirations, and exercises (including tax withholding) are accurately processed, settled, and reconciled in a timely manner
  • Assist in the implementation of a new stock administration platform 
  • Manage compensation market pricing and benchmarking efforts, including identification of benchmarking solutions, participation in surveys along with job architecture build and maintenance
  • Manage and support the administration of the compensation process along with configuring systems to support the annual compensation process
  • Develop and maintain complex compensation modeling, analytics, metrics, and reporting

  • Working knowledge of Carta or ShareWorks and Workday Compensation
  • 5+ years of progressive experience, ideally within high-growth, lean and entrepreneurial environments
  • Proven track record of managing domestic and international equity plans
  • Comprehensive understanding of the different types of equity awards and the related taxation of such awards
  • Impeccable integrity, commitment to accurate reporting, open communication of issues and risks, and ability to maintain confidential information
  • Advanced experience with MS Word and MS Excel MS Powerpoint along with Google Suite applications (Google docs, sheets, slides etc..)

Colorado, New York, California, Washington only: The salary range for this position is as indicated below. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience, among other factors.

Colorado: $103,500 - $115,000

New York/California/Washington: $115,000 - £127,500
