Our team is responsible for the end-to-end data management of equity corporate actions data including dividends, stock splits, rights offerings to offer a comprehensive product offering for our internal and external partners such as Enterprise Data, Indices and News. We focus on improving workflows via technology to automate data processing to scale and enhance our product. Our data product, which fuels our Corporate Actions and Dividend Forecasting functions, is a key building block in Bloomberg's overall offering, being used by more than a third of Bloomberg's 320,000 users.
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer with passion for data, technology and finance to improve our data product. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing various ETL pipelines, extraction automation, streamlining data processing, support exponential growth of data volume and achieve data quality excellence. You will be a technical leader in the team to devise a product strategy while implementing technical solutions, collaborate with our data technology engineers to integrate solutions into the wider architecture. You also have opportunity to mentor our junior data engineers, foster a good learning environment, and establish best practices for the team.
