Advertised Job SummaryThe new Excellence in Policing and Public Safety Program (EPPS) at the Joseph F. Rice School of Law at the University of South Carolina seeks an adjunct professor to lead the development and delivery of a suite of training and educational programs for South Carolina public safety professionals. Duties include curriculum research and design, development of supporting materials and resources, content delivery, and leading stakeholder engagement to ensure content meets priority needs of the field. The position also will support Program activities broadly and serve as a thought-partner for the development of technical assistance and research projects. Candidates must hold a terminal degree (JD, EdD., or Ph.D.) in a relevant field and demonstrate significant experience developing and delivering training and education programs to law enforcement and other public safety professionals at the federal, state, and local level.

QualificationsApplicants must have a J.D., EdD., or PhD in a relevant field and at least five years of teaching or practice experience.
