Head of Operations (Risk & Compliance Learning and Development)

We are seeking a leader who will be accountable for driving the workforce change for a strategic business transformation within a global organization with the compliance and operations function. The ideal candidate will be a change management and training thought leader with a strategic mindset. 

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead the learning and development strategy for both transformation and business as usual work across the Service Delivery organization, which covers Back Office, Customer Care and Compliance Operations teams.
  • Create the strategy, plan and orchestrate training execution across broad transformation programs for multiple functions across the globe.
  • Be a leader in a cross-functional business change group to ensure that an integrated workforce change plan within the broader transformation, and able to communicate at every level of the organisation.
  • Design and deliver robust and engaging blended training solutions for new business processes, products/platforms and technical competencies by building interactive trainings, exercises, simulations, gamification, collaboration, and social learning using. Use qualitative and quantitative metrics and process analytics to drive the solutions.
  • Instructional design expertise: utilize knowledge of instructional design principles and methodologies to lead the team to design, develop, and deliver engaging and interactive training materials. This includes e-learning modules, SME-led training and other multimedia resources as part of a hybrid training approach. Analyse and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design.
  • Build a team, coach, and provide pragmatic direction to training team members. Collate and analyse evaluation data to establish quality improvement cycles for developed training programs; iteratively and dynamically adapting to changing business needs and feedback.

You should apply if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience
  • 8+ years of training/learning and instructional design experience
  • 4+ years of team management experience
  • 3+ years of working on transformation programs, ideally with a significant amount of technology related change
  • Proficiency in training methodologies, instructional design, and learning management systems
  • Experience in the usage of Digital Adoption Platforms (e.g. WalkMe), and how to generate value from them within the organization
  • Proficiency in authoring and e-learning creation tools, and learning enablement technologies such as Articulate
  • Proficiency in audio/video editing software, e.g., Camtasia, Vyond
  • High degree of digital/technical literacy preferred
