Job Description:

The responsibility of the Inventory Control Specialist is to maintain a high level of the inventory accuracy, leading and monitoring the cycle count programs, proper master data management for inventory and storage optimization together with the Inventory Control team.Takes the lead in rootcause analysis of inventory deviations and proposes improvements and/or countermeasures. Responsible for all related types of reporting like KPI reports, SOX control, etc.

Job Requirements:

Achieve the goals in collaboration with colleagues. Be able to work in an international environment.

The person should have knowledge of logistics and adequate education or experience for this type of work.

Extended knowledge of Oracle Inventory Management and/or SAP R/3 Warehouse Management is a must.

Good knowledge of MS Excel is a must.

Experience with analytic tools is a strong advantage.

Ability to analyze and solve (complex) problems.

Proactive; the person should be proactive in the daily work and inform the organization about issues that they foresee or encounter in the daily work. Question things in a proactive and positive way.

Result-oriented; the person will be assigned certain KPIs and targets and it’s important that the person is result oriented and also can initiate improvements to better fulfill the defined KPIs.

Ownership; the person should take full ownership of his/hers area and also in all the issues that will arise. Nothing should be left between the chairs along the process or in project work.

Fun; the person should contribute in a positive way to the company culture and the team spirit.

Responsible; the person will be responsible and accountable for the work performed and the performance of the KPI fulfillment.

Accurate; the work will require a person that is good at handling details and are accurate and detailed in the day-to-day work but he/she should also understand the larger picture.

Competent; the person has to be competent enough for the job. Mistakes are OK as long as we learn from them but they should not be constantly repeated.

Attitude; A “can do” attitude is a must. The person is also required to question things to see if there are any improvements to be made. A willing to grow with the company is desirable. It is also required that the person can adapt to change and are willing to try new things.
