Essential Functions*:

  • Develop and maintain configuration management plans and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain configuration baselines for construction and design documents.
  • Review and approve proposed changes to configuration items.
  • Coordinate and track the implementation of approved changes.
  • Coordinate and track construction submittals.
  • Coordinate and track construction contract document deliverables (CDRLs).
  • Coordinate and track requests for information between stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all configuration data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct audits to verify compliance with configuration management processes.
  • Provide training and support to team members on configuration management processes.

Position Requirements*: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in configuration management.
  • Strong knowledge of configuration management principles and best practices.
  • Experience with configuration management tools and software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in configuration management (e.g., CMII certification) is preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., aerospace, defense, healthcare) is preferred.
  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software is preferred.
  • This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives
  • This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.
  • This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate’s ability to access ITAR controlled data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
