NorthBay looking a proficient Frontend Developer with a strong background in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and React to join our team. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from our Lahore, Karachi, or Islamabad locations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in frontend development, including building scalable applications on Azure, integrating with backend services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technical solutions.

Job Description:
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, jQuery/Bootstrap, and JSON.
- Excellent knowledge of React and proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Good understanding of AJAX and JavaScript DOM.
- Design and build advanced, scalable applications on Azure.
- Ability to understand business requirements and map them to the latest Azure features.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and maintaining code repositories.
- Act as a consultant to team members on technical matters.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to translate end-user requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate with other backend services (JSON, XML, etc.).
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Ability to read and update code done by any developer.
Skills:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in frontend development.
- Knowledge of consuming REST APIs.
- Experience in building responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery/Bootstrap, and JSON.
- Proficient with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React, preferably React experience with Redux.
- Familiarity with server-side technologies like Node.js.
- Experience in SQL Server T-SQL and administration knowledge.
- Implementation experience in the Azure landscape.
- Working and integration with Azure and on-premise components.
- Good understanding of the development life cycle, mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Experience in working with third-party libraries and APIs, specifically eCommerce APIs.
- Good to have experience in the implementation of headless eCommerce websites.
- Knowledge of the Kibo eCommerce platform is a plus.
- Strong contributions in GitHub or Azure DevOps are preferred.
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal).
