Strategy Implementation Manager – HR Maternity Cover

The position

We are currently looking for a Strategy Implementation Manager (SIM) for our HR team at HBK to be based in any of our European Sites. This role is 30 hours a week and will be a 6-8 month period covering maternity leave.

Our new SIM will be responsible for driving key strategic projects across the global organisation. The role holder will have a direct influence on the strategic decision making, and work on several major initiatives, affecting both the financial division as well as the company.

This position is well suited for ambitious candidates. You may have started your career within management consulting and/or a large international organization and are now looking to have a more long-term impact by taking on a similar role in an internal function, or you have gained similar skills in another environment.

Primary responsibilities

You will be working with/responsible for:

  • Drive key projects for one of our key strategic initiatives, making HBK a Great Place to Work. This includes, but is not limited to, initiatives within Employee Engagement, Recognition and Performance Management
  • Prepare and present data to senior managers and other stakeholders on the progress of HR initiatives
  • Drive the integration of our company values: Own it, Be True, Aim High
  • Act as project lead for the development and implementation of our new global HR System, Workday
  • Act as a key sparring partner in the continued growth and globalization of the HR team

Professional qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor or master's degree in Business Administration, Organisational Strategy, HR Management or a related field
  • 2-4 years' experience in a Management Consultant or Project Manager role within Human Resources, Change Management, Organisational Development or similar
  • Experience from an international organization
  • Experience from a Manufacturing or Engineering company would be preferred
  • Fluent English skills. Additional European language skills considered a distinct advantage
