Overview
Job Summary
There are two Truck Driver categories on the Eagle contract. They include:
- TRUCKDRIVER, HEAVY TRUCK: Straight truck, over 4 tons, usually 10 wheels.
- TRUCKDRIVER, TRACTOR-TRAILER: A trailer having a set or several sets of wheels at the rear only, with the forward portion being supported by the truck tractor or towing vehicle.
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- The Truck Driver drives a truck to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between various types of establishments.
- Manufacturing plants, freight depots, warehouses, wholesale and retail establishments, or between retail establishments and customers’ houses or places of business.
- This driver may also load or unload truck with or without helpers, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep truck in good working order.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- Truck Driver, Heavy: Commercial Driver’s License
- 4+ years truck driving experience
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening
- Valid Driver’s License
- High School Diploma / GED
- Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result and obtain a CAC.
- Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
Desired Qualifications:
- Truck Driver, Tractor-Trailer: Commercial Driver’s License Preferred
- Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures
- U.S. Army 88M series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent
Physical Demands:
Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
