In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with the Direct-to-Consumer revenue and marketing organisation for our ANZ business for all aspects regards financial planning and technology-driven analytical support for decision making.

Let’s talk about the role:

FP&A

  • Drive the budgeting and forecasting process for ANZ DTC business
  • Own monthly P&Ls for all channels and retail stores, review variance analysis with business partners and drive SG&A efficiencies.
  • Analytical support for strategic commercial decisions and promotional offers, monitor performance and evaluate results
  • Financial modelling for new business initiatives including new stores, product launches and M&A
  • Development and preparation of management reports/presentations for Sales Director and first line managers.

Business Partnership

  • Be a trusted business partner with the ability to challenge and influence retail leadership’s decisions, while building business relationships.
  • Able to initiate, influence and drive retail business strategic conversation; contribute in building retail business models, e-commerce business offerings etc.
  • Understand key business levers to support both on-line and off-line business initiatives, provide insights that drive decision and outcome. Understand channel conflict and able to navigate through appropriately.
  • Work with Accounting team and Corporate Finance to ensure month end closing and reporting adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.

Systems and BI tools

  • Ensure the ERP, POS and web platform systems fully support business processes and assist with the implementation of changes and improvements to these software systems.
  • Use technology to monitor the key metrics and operations of DTC channels
  • Continuously drive process improvement to translate business needs to operational steps and system processes.
  • Build performance dashboards, track goals and progress on key initiatives.

Let’s talk about you:

Required: (Qualifications/experiences that are a must for the position)

  • Business, Commerce or related degree
  • Deep knowledge in retail/DTC business/e-commerce space, understand the key levers that drive direct to consumer and/or retail business growth; Understand how to support business growth with analysis on consumer behaviour, LTV and CAC.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar FP&A role with good accounting and revenue reporting knowledge
  • Proficient in data gathering from cloud through SQL, BI tools (E.g ,Cognos) and budgeting systems (E.g Anaplan).
  • Substantial experience in top ERP systems (Eg.Oracle) and creation of data visualization dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, etc)

Preferred: (Qualifications/experiences that are preferred for the position)

  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Prefer to have worked in a fast-paced, complex, global and dynamic environments.
  • Project and system implementation experience, exposure to M&A deals will be highly regarded.
  • Innovative, dynamic, mature, influential with high attention to detail, and ability to foster trust with all business functions.
  • Ability to lead and develop others in the team.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable in ‘real-time’ process work environment.
