About the role

Spa Reception supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the spa reception. Manage a spa’s finances, employees, and services for reception operations. Primary responsibility is to provide leadership, direction, and supervision of staff in the daily operations of the spa, including but not limited to retail and membership programs.

What you will do

  • Take ownership of customers issues and following up on problems to make sure to solve the issue.
  • Set up standard service operational procedures and train the receptionists.
  • Supporting the Director of Spa to analyze statistics and compile accurate reports
  • Managing the daily operations including personnel, finances and services offered.
  • Assist the Director of Spa in setting up Spa & Treatment services, including grooming and appearance of facilities and staff.
  • Assist the Director of Spa in recruiting spa team members.
  • Requisition and stock office supplies for the desk.
  • Respond appropriately in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • Reporting any malfunction or Engineering issue to the appropriate department.
  • Handling and prioritizing daily logistics to aid daily operations.
  • To provide a friendly and professional service that exceeds guests’ expectations.
  • Comply with the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety are executed.
  • To comply with local legislation as required.
  • To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.
  • To attend training and meetings as and when required.
  • Take care of all membership registration procedures.
  • Explain to potential members about spa membership details.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Spa/Hotel leadership team.

What you bring

EDUCATION: High School education or equivalent experience

EXPERIENCE: Preferred two years experience in related position with Four Seasons or other organization in spa or beauty industries. Proficiency in English and Japanese.

Full-time position

Require a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
