You will add value to the team through:

• Perform analysis with attention to detail and critical review.
• Maintain laboratory test equipment in good working condition and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Participate in the external and internal laboratory proficiency programmes.
• Make up analytical solutions, monitor consumables and waste in accordance with lab SOP’s
• Assist with the training and supervision of fixed term staff at vintage as directed by the Laboratory manager.
• Assist with R & D projects as directed by the Transformation/Winemaking team.
• Ensure laboratory areas are clean and tidy, that the area is a safe and healthy place to work.
• Assisting in writing winery work order instructions as required.
• Recording bottling chemistries.
• Completion of WECS certification in conjunction with Operations Winemaker.
• Undertake Cellarhand duties as required

• Previous laboratory experience
• Computer literate
