As a Sr. Broadband Testing Engineer, you will design, develop, support and apply your craft to test, trial, deploy, and troubleshoot the next generation of DOCSIS 4.0 access networks and participate in the development of industry leading technologies to maximize broadband capacity. The Technology, Product, Experience (TPX) organization works at the intersection of media and technology and our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering products and next-generation technologies that transform the customer experience.
The Comcast Network and CONNECTivity (CONNECT) organization is a highly agile, fast-paced, dedicated group at the forefront of change focused on innovating, building, and operating the best in class, most reliable access network for our customers.
Collaborate with a variety of organization roles including network architects and engineers, software engineers, analytics, data scientists and program managers to provide design, system integration and validation to the network. The teams you will work with include the leading broadband experts who have pioneered the current and future broadband access technology.
Develop HFC RF and optical infrastructure with software defined management of upstream, downstream and FDX spectrum while contributing to operations and deployment strategies enabling the vision of multi-Gbps Symmetrical broadband.
Contribute expertise and HFC experience to hands on lab testing and validation, field configuration and characterization supporting HFC spectrum expansion and optimization. Success in this role is best enabled by a broad mix of skills and interests ranging from traditional HFC infrastructure, RF signal and noise characterization, ethernet and optical networks, construction, and lab test to engaging software development and project management teams with systems architecture and DOCSIS subject matter expertise.

Compensation
Primary Location Pay Range: $123,192.31 - $184,788.47
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
