Job Responsibilities

  • Support Applications Field Sales to sell Oracle SaaS (New & Expansion) products by identifying new prospects, building relationships, determining needs, and managing the opportunity throughout the entire sales process to completion and close (for volume deals).
  • To sell Oracle solutions via phone and digital means demonstrating social media platforms.
  • Working closely with and applying all other Oracle resources such as Sales Consultants, Demand/Business Development, Marketing, and Customer Success to build demand for Oracle SaaS Solutions.
  • Support Applications Field Sales to achieve Oracle SaaS deals that are <50K ARR USD, for volume deals (N&E). Generation, development, and management of sales leads.
  • Ownership of Oracle Systems deals in patch, with alignment to their territory and direction from Field Sales.
  • Complete business and territory plans which focus on Oracle Business activities.
  • Demonstrate clearly and continually a "customer-centric" approach during all customer interactions. Manage a commercial relationship with the customer and maintain customer data through the identification and evaluation of – the customer’s product requirement.
  • Work with supporting Oracle Eco-System (e.g. Solutions Engineers, Product Managers, Business Development Consultants) to create demand for agreed Oracle SaaS solutions, and assist in the identification and implementation of effective Sales Programs to generate new business opportunities.
  • Educate and work with the Oracle Partners on where and how to identify opportunities with new and current customers regarding the Oracle SaaS solution offering.
  • Pro-active, consistent communication via e-vehicle (e-blasts, web seminars, remote demos, Proof Of Concepts, as per direction of field reps).
  • Sales planning and forecast management through the collection of feedback, market information and industry trends, product requirement, and competitive issues.
  • Build the value proposition for the customer.
  • Preparation of the necessary "clean" paperwork to get the orders processed and shipped to the customer.
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Oracle SaaS products, as well as competitive products and technologies, and industry trends.
  • Additional tasks may be required from time to time

Experience Required for the role

  • Minimum of 3-4 years consultative sales experience in the IT industry with a passion for Cloud solutions.
  • An analytical mind and experience with strong solution selling skills.
  • Familiar with social media tools and technologies.
  • Sound understanding of the ANZ IT market.
  • Experience in managing a high-volume sales pipeline.
  • Experience in selling or positioning cloud solutions in SaaS would be an advantage.
