We are now looking for a Finance Analytics Engineer to join our Customer to Cash, Business Intelligence & Analytics team in UPM Business HUB Wrocław, Poland.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain financial data models, algorithms, and analytical tools to support strategic decision-making and financial planning processes (SAP and Salesforce as main data source)
• Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our analytics platform (DBT, Snowflake, Azure Machine learning, Microsoft Power Platform as main data platforms)
• Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to understand operational teams requirements, develop dashboards and reports to track process efficiency performance and metrics (Accounts Receivable, Credit Risk, Bad Debt Management, Billing and Customer Care teams in scope of core operations)
• Perform trend analysis, variance analysis, and root cause analysis to identify key drivers of customer payment behavior and areas for improvement
• Work closely with our IT, Solution Architects and Information Architects to design and maintain data analytics architecture
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in finance analytics and data engineering

Who you are

• You have a University degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• You have minimum 5 years of experience in finance analytics, financial modeling, or data engineering roles
• You present strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DAX) for data analysis and manipulation
• Work experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Azure Machine Learning platform is considered an asset
• You are familiar with programming languages such as Python, R, or Java for data manipulation and automation
• You have experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and dashboard development
• You demonstrate excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights
• You are skilled in communication in fluent English and collaboration with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

Additional information

The position is located in UPM Business HUB Wrocław, Poland.

The position holder will report to Senior Manager, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Customer to Cash.

The recruitment process will consist of three rounds: 1) analytical assignment in PowerBi sent via email, 2) telephone conversation with the hiring manager, 3) interview at the office, including 2-hours-long SQL test.
