Job Role: Mainframe System Administrator

Location: Cincinnati OH

Duration: Full Time 

Job Description:

• Mainframe System Administrators with competencies in zOS, HSM Storage, CICS, and MQ to adequately support the customer.
• Provide admin support for the z/OS operating system.
• Perform system configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
• Collaborate with Bank mainframe administrators and support teams.
• Perform routine health checks and performance monitoring on the Mainframe.
• Provide support for mainframe disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Participate in regular DR tests and exercises.
• Provide support and administer mainframe storage resources.
• Support and Manage HSM and storage pools.
• Support data availability and backup strategies.
• Support and administer Mainframe CICS regions.
• Monitor CICS performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with application teams for CICS-related requirements.
• Support and administer IBM MQ on the mainframe.
• Support and maintain MQ queues and channels.
• Ensure message delivery and queue management.
• Support MQ-related incidents and Mainframe applications using MQ.
• Provide support for in-scope incidents that occur during India work hours.
• Collaborate with Client CICS administrators and support teams.
• Perform DR Test, Capacity Monitoring, Process Documentation, and update time to time bases
