Position Purpose:
Under limited supervision, serves to provide instruction in the specific content area of Phlebotomy and Lab Specimen Processing including Point of Care Testing (POCT). Teach and train using MercyOne Siouxland approved training plan. Provide trainees with clear course objectives and expectations. Ensure that training content and objectives are met. Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate the diverse learning styles of colleagues. Comply with all institutional, accrediting and regulatory agency policies and procedures. Respond to trainee questions and inquiries in a timely manner. Document concerns to the direct supervisor or Lab Leadership. Uphold the highest levels of professionalism and ethical conduct
