About the role:

The Sr. Systems Administrator will be responsible for building out standardized Salesforce tools to maximize efficiency at all levels across the sales organization. This role will play a critical role in developing a framework for scalable reporting, strategic planning, and supporting senior-level sales and sales operations leadership. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, designing scalable best practice solutions, and managing the product road map. 

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform, who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, in order to quickly identify areas of improvement. The Senior Salesforce Administrator should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. 

Here’s more of what you will get to do:

  • Serve as a senior Salesforce administrator for OfferUp’s Salesforce environment 
  • Drive change management and provide the team with tools to help them excel 
  • Responsible for the configuration of sales tech/apps that have integrations with Salesforce, including Zendesk, Zuora, Enablement Tools, DocuSign, CRM Analytics, DemandTools, Jira, and Community Experience portals
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new analysis requests
  • Work with the organization to support administrative, development, and change management activities related to the data provided through our Salesforce org.
  • Implement new features and business processes and ensure user adoption & measurement. 

Projects may include pipeline managing repeatable processes, deploying and refining industry best practice forecasting processes, in-depth ad hoc sales performance analysis, evaluation of strategic programs, and the packaging of findings/recommendations into presentation-ready content for senior leadership.

  • Execute ad hoc user requests and assist with managing day-to-day Salesforce administration tasks. 
  • Develop and maintain standardized operational reports and dashboards to monitor overall region/territory health, data integrity, and other key objectives and performance indicators.
  • Partner with sales management to drive increased adoption and reliability of sales forecasting (pipeline management mechanism)
  • Support ongoing analysis of business performance.
  • Collect, analyze, evaluate, and report data to track sales performance and metrics
  • Work closely with Sales Strategy and Planning counterparts to enable the execution of annual plans
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
  • Support day-to-day inquiries from the sales team, providing prompt and efficient resolution to a wide range of issues and developing operational procedures and policies to manage volume
  • Maintain security settings, access settings, user roles, OWD, and profiles, sharing rules, and more
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including but not limited to flows, fields, custom objects, record types, permissions, mobile administration and automation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally within the Sales Operations organization to ensure consistent reporting standards and processes
  • Collaborate with the Business Systems team to improve or define processes that promote data integrity and reporting functionality
  • Identify and address user internal support tickets for end users and stakeholders
  • Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Experienced. 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce and/or tools administrator in revenue organizations at a fast-paced technology company or consultancy
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Admin, Advanced Salesforce Certified Admin preferred
  • Technical. Salesforce Administration/Development, Zendesk Administration, Zuora Administration. Experience in Tableau Software, Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot), Salesforce Mobile Apps, Partner Portals, SQL-preferred
  • Analytical. Able to create scalable and repeatable analytics and able to perform complex analysis, including regression, forecasting, and probability modeling
  • Communicator. Strong communicator, both verbally and written. Able to communicate at all levels
  • Team Player. Able to manage multiple priorities and build excellent rapport with internal teams

Compensation Range: $134,000 - $152,000

OfferUp offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. Individual salaries within our ranges are determined through a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. All roles will receive equity in OfferUp as part of their compensation, the amount of equity varying depending on the individual’s level and experience. 

Benefits (all US roles): In addition to our compensation package, this role is eligible to enroll in health insurance, healthcare savings, and spending accounts, retirement savings benefits (401(k) plan with match), basic and voluntary life insurance, disability benefits, and paid time off for sick leave, family and/or medical leave, vacation, and 12 company holidays. In regard to vacation time, OfferUp has a flexible vacation policy, and, in general, full-time, exempt employees will be expected to take 3-5 weeks (15-30 days) of pre-planned vacation time per year. Vacation needs are flexible and will naturally vary from year to year based on individual circumstances and business needs. In regard to sick time, all full-time employees (exempt and non-exempt) will be granted 12 days (96 hours) of sick time per year (pro-rated if the start date is other than January 1).
